Boss Battle Guide
(1) Minerva’s Guardian (Owl Boss, Plains)
Appears near the spawn point; your objective is to find and defeat it. Place a campfire under the statue to mark the owl’s location on the map, or follow its shadow to locate it. A bird’s call will alert you to its presence.
Key Strategy:
Place a ring of coal traps around the nest, then break the eggs to trigger the boss fight. Circle around the boss to burn it to death. Be careful not to get too close; keep moving to avoid the owl’s dives and lightning attacks. The more traps you set, the faster the boss will die.
If there are no mountains, you can place four automatic scorpion crossbows and build coal traps around them. Load each crossbow with 50 flint arrows, then create a crossbow blueprint off-screen that’s one hammer away from completion to draw aggro.
Once the boss’s health drops below half, Phase 2 will begin. Be sure to dodge the close-range AoE attack that marks the phase transition.
Reward: Defeating the Minerva Guard grants the Logistics Tent blueprint, after which you can begin automating the setup. A random piece of the boss’s armor will drop from the chest—be sure to equip it.

(2) Medusa (Desert Boss)
Equip the Bronze Set and head to the desert to take on this challenge. The key mechanic is to avoid looking directly into Medusa’s eyes, or you’ll be turned to stone. Use the terrain to your advantage to evade her attacks and defeat her as quickly as possible.
(3) Cyclops (Plains Dungeon)
A melee-type boss. Key strategy: Keep moving; don’t stand still while attacking. If your gear is sufficient, use traps and ranged attacks to wear him down.
(4) Pizfax (Volcano Boss)
A powerful boss in the Volcano area. Requires legendary gear to challenge; it is recommended to go in a party.
(5) Final Boss (Temple)
After defeating all area bosses, enter the final temple to challenge the final boss. The final battle is extremely difficult; be sure to stock up on potions, apply buffs, and only attempt it once you have max-level gear.

After defeating all bosses, the game enters its late game:
Equip all villagers with legendary gear and challenge the more difficult volcanic region
Unlock trading posts to automatically transport resources between different towns
Establish branches in every biome, with each region specializing in the production of specific resources
Build a brewing system to produce wine, olive oil, fish sauce, and beer
Enhance your defense system with catapults, crossbow towers, and stone walls in successive layers
The volcanic biome contains abundant rare resources such as gems and research papers.

The game’s automation system is central to late-game development. Unlock technologies like additional goods from Mercury and Kris’s Level 2 Bakery to gradually transition from manual labor to automated production lines, ushering in a true new era of frontier development.

May you soon restore Rome’s glory upon these ruins!
