My current starting and bench lineups:
Point Guard: Clarkson Backup: Delly
Shooting Guard: Kobe Josh Richardson, Aaron Clabby
Small Forward: Wiggins Ingram, Jerami Grant
Power Forward: Randle Larry Nance
Center: Embiid Yi Jianlian
Trading in this game is a bit tricky—there’s a 60-day trade signing restriction. I turned that off, but I was still able to acquire some promising young players. LaVine is hard to trade for now. In the previous game, I could still trade for him with Clarkson plus a few draft picks, but in this one, the Timberwolves aren’t even interested, so I gave up on that. Since I’m not a fan of Russell, I traded him for Wiggins. Rondo is too old, so I just straight-up traded him for the Trail Blazers’ Crabbe. This way, I have two promising young stars at the forward positions—after all, youth has development value. The Heat’s Josh Richardson has shooting range and athleticism—I traded for him with Huerta and Calderon. Most importantly, for those who like big, promising centers, I managed to snag the 76ers’ goofball De’Andre’ with the Lakers’ Lou Williams plus three draft picks. So if you like playing as the Lakers, give it a shot—he’s got plenty of potential and height; in real life, he’s already 218 cm tall, though in the game he’s still only 213 cm and can be modified, right? Having a giant in the paint is pretty reassuring, haha. Anyway, I haven’t enabled forced trades yet; I plan to trade up some prospects in the second season to see if I can land an All-Star.
Since I’m a Kobe fan, I manually added the retired legend to the roster. Even without him, this group of young guys still has plenty of potential—Wiggins as a scorer, Ingram as the starting small forward. The lineup is pretty dreamy, and the bench can hold its own too. Let’s hear about your teams and discuss them.
